Timo emerged as a photographer through his work in other visual arts and graphic design. He was academically trained in painting and drawing throughout his childhood, and in college. During that time, while he was focused on other visual arts, photography slowly became an important outlet for Timo's visual creativity.
Without a camera, Timo writes a blog, builds websites, and has a range of sculptural projects, but it is through the lens, and on the computer that Timo comes to express the craft he is most passionate about. Timo is a perfectionist with an almost obsession with details, and it shows in his work.
Timo is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in photography from San Jose State University.
Timo works both traditionally with film of all sizes, and with digital. He is always willing to share his knowledge about his processes, so feel free to contact him with any questions you might have.
Timo works either at a competitive hourly rate, or by the day. Timo is flexible, and will to work with your budget. He is easy going and easy to work with, making each job pleasant from the moment you make contact.
